  • Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners
    UTS acknowledges the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation and the Boorooberongal People of the Dharug Nation upon whose ancestral lands our campuses now stand. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.

    Governance at UTS operates within the framework prescribed by the UTS Act and By-law, and the rules, policies and procedures as determined by the authoritative decision-making bodies of the University. Decisions are implemented in accordance with the delegations as approved by the UTS Council.Consistent with its values and mission, the University pursues its strategic objectives and priorities through this framework.

    The UTS city campus is located within Sydney’s growing education, innovation and creative hub at the southern gateway to the Central Business District.Close to Central Station and straddling Broadway, our vibrant and connected campus is part of a precinct that is home to the ABC, the Powerhouse Museum, TAFE Ultimo, the International Convention Centre (ICC), Darling Harbour and Chinatown.Our commitment to future-focused learning, high-impact research, and effective partnerships with industry and community is reflected in the design of our campus.
