Why study the Master of Psychology (Clinical) at UNE? This course will train Psychology graduates and registered, experienced Psychologists in the professional specialisation of clinical psychology. The course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and involves 1000 hours of clinical placements. The first year of the course is undertaken full-time on-campus, with the exception of those students admitted under Rule (c)*, who can only study this course online, in full-time or part-time mode. Completion of the course will enable graduates to apply for general registration as a Psychologist (if they do not already hold this). Subsequent supervised practice will lead to endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist by the Psychology Board of Australia. This is an approved Student Income Support course. Eligible students may apply for Youth Allowance or Austudy. * Rule (c) entry is for those candidates who hold General Registration without conditions and have practiced for a minimum of 12 months. Rule (c) admission only has Full Fee places available. CSP is not available for candidates admitted to this course under Rule (c). Applicants seeking admission under Rule (c) who already hold General Registration: Applications close EST 11.59pm on 18 November 2018. Please note: Students currently enrolled in the UNE Master of Professional Psychology that are applying to transfer to the second year of the Master of Psychology (Clinical) in Trimester 1 2019 must submit an application by 11:59pm Friday 31 August 2018. For applications applying under Rule (a) applications close EST 11.59pm on Friday 5 October 2018.
