Build on your previous studies in preventing and managing medical conditions with exercise and qualify as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
This 18-month program will help you develop an in-depth understanding of key pathologies, including metabolic, cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, and how they can be managed through exercise. Focus on exercise prescription, programming and research by completing intensive study and hands-on clinical training, and learn about working with people who are healthy or those who have disabilities or complex and chronic medical conditions.Study in state-of-the-art facilities including exercise science laboratories (including strength and conditioning labs, motor control labs, and exercise physiology labs), general teaching laboratories (including a biomechanics teaching lab), and more.Be confident and job-ready after spending 600 hours on supervised clinical placements within our five specialised on-campus clinics, as well as external industry placements in a range of healthcare organisations around Queensland.
