In Australia, health communication is a diverse field working across government, non-government, non-profit, private and public organisations, and impacts the heath decision-making behaviour of a diverse and complex public. Health communicators work to translate and mediate the myriad discourses within the industry including policy, research, clinical practice and public health. As a student of this course, you will work on real-life projects within this context and engage with current theory and practice in order to critique health communication campaigns in Australia and internationally.
