  The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is a young, dynamic university dedicated to providing quality programs and degrees in a flexible and supportive environment. In less than 50 years, USQ has become a prominent teaching and research institution providing education worldwide from three regional locations – Toowoomba, Springfield and Ipswich.The Toowoomba region founded USQ out of their passion to provide the best possible educational opportunities for local students. The vision and determination of our local communities has seen USQ grow and expand with a reputation as one of Australia’s leading providers of on-campus and online programs in Australia and overseas.We are proud of our history and the story of our Phoenix, which has always been a part of our identity and remains our most cherished visual asset to this day. The current USQ visual identity was launched in 2012, and has been instrumental in cementing USQ’s reputation as a quality provider of education, contributing to our continued growth in our regions and ensuring we remain successful well into the future.

  If you require the use of the USQ logo, you can seek permission by completing the online Logo request form. A member of the USQ Brand team will be in touch within two (2) working days of receiving the logo request.

• Sponsorships
  USQ offers two types of sponsorships; in-kind and financial. If you are seeking financial sponsorship, please complete the USQ Sponsorships application form. Please note that, once you have submitted your sponsorship application to USQ, your request will be assessed by the University and may take up to 12 weeks. Alternatively, if you are seeking in-kind sponsorship, please email sponsorships@usq.edu.au for an in-kind sponsorships application form. Please note that, in-kind sponsorships are treated on an ad hoc basis. In-kind requests may take anywhere between 1-6 weeks to be finalised, depending on what has been requested.
• Exhibitions and Displays
  For over a century, what is now USQ Ipswich, operated as the precinct of an institution catering for people with mental disabilities. The ‘Challinor Centre memorabilia’ exhibition shows a variety of artefacts used during the era.This institution operated under various names—opening in 1878 as the Sandy Gallop Asylum, a branch of the Goodna Asylum; then operated as The Ipswich Hospital for the Insane from 1910, The Ipswich Mental Hospital from 1938, The Ipswich Special Hospital from 1963 and the Challinor Centre from 1968.The facility closed in 1994 and the site Heritage listed in 1996 and the precinct was re-purposed for use as a university campus. The University of Queensland occupied the site from 1998-2014, with the University of Southern Queensland acquiring the precinct on 7 January 2015.
