The Graduate Certificate in Development Practice will develop your core knowledge and skills so you can appreciate the complexity of development and effectively plan and manage development solutions.
This six-month, full-time program is designed for those with an approved degree in any discipline, or post-secondary study and / or relevant work experience. Focus on key topics in the world today through studying courses that bring together aspects of community level development, urban and social planning, and political analysis from local to global levels.Study introductory courses, or a combination of introductory and specialised courses from one of four fields of study: Community Development; Development Planning; Politics of Global Development; or Social and Cultural Dynamics of Development.Graduate with a stand alone qualification, or you may be eligible for credit towards the higher-level Master of Development Practice, which has a more comprehensive study plan, and offers greater professional opportunities.
