This four-year program examines the theory and practice behind physiotherapy to prepare you for a career where you’ll care for people of all ages and backgrounds who suffer from musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory or other conditions. Benefit from a diverse range of learning approaches. Courses integrate lectures, seminars, skill sessions, practical classes, tutor and peer feedback sessions, and assignment work that covers topics such as injury prevention, pain management and more. Undertake more than 1050 hours of supervised clinical placements in a range of settings that include hospitals, educational facilities, healthcare organisations and private practice as well as UQ’s physiotherapy clinics. This qualification will also allow you to continue your passion for learning in further postgraduate studies both in Australia and internationally.
