This Honours course consists of a fourth year of study for students who have completed an undergraduate degree in Arts, Design, Media and Communications or Contemporary Arts. It consists of coursework and the preparation of a thesis.Course Learning Outcomes
Apply advanced discipline knowledge, research methods and technical skills to plan and execute research activities and/or creative outputs as they apply to the arts.
Communicate a persuasive explanation of arts knowledge including a discussion of research results appropriate to the audience in a variety of academic/professional contexts.
Demonstrate autonomy, accountability and ethical awareness in a research and/or creative project as they apply to the arts.
Review, analyse, consolidate and synthesise principles and concepts in arts with intellectual independence to generate new understanding.
